We begin our first double feature week with Terror of the Zygons. At 83.79%, it achieves the number 17 position. It is notable as the best considered story to feature the early 70s UNIT team including Lethbridge-Stewart and Benton (however not the best to feature UNIT overall, that being held by The Stolen Earth\Journey's End). It seems to be better liked by longer running fans of the series. It is also notable for being one of the big gainers from the 1996 poll, rising 4.9% points and (if the new episodes were not counted) would move from 25th to 9th place.
Here is an abridged version of what Eddie Robson had to say:

I just realized that, thanks to The End of Time and Hamlet, we have the dubious privilege of watching David die TWICE in the same week.
Two new videos to gear us all up for "End of Time"! Some great teasers, but no real spoilers beyond casting spoilers that are already widespread.
ETA: Video content is from BBC America, and some people outside the U.S. have been unable to view it. Sorry if that applies to you!

Jordan's been asleep since 10:00. Curled up on the couch like a stray dog wearing baggy sweats, she's the kind of stray dog you'd gladly take home from the parking lot at Wiggly Foods without a second thought. Or a first thought, even. It'd be take-home autopilot, something you'd respond to without thinking.
"Hop in, girl," you'd say, and let her ride shotgun in the cab of Gloria, nose wind-surfing out the half-down window of the rusting, '87 Ford F-150 you got when Uncle Leddy kicked the bucket for the third and final time.
"Gloria -- this is," you'd say in introduction, "... what's your name, again?" She'd look at you with those lonesome, winsome, distant-close, warm-you-to-the-bone eyes. "Take me home, Big Boy," her slow, blue eyes would say, "we don't need words to interact."
And you'd obey. You'd do whatever those eyes asked, as long as you could let this feeling linger on. Because, somehow, in the genus of her own, non-ape indie world, she made you species jump and feel human.

DAVID TENNANT, ACTOR
What are you doing for Christmas this year?
I don't actually know what I'm doing for Christmas yet. That's a debate that has to be had with various family members.
I'm not quite sure what we're doing yet. But I'm sure I'll be with some family and friends. That's how everyone should spend Christmas, right?
It's a big family occasion. I remember having a big Scalextric and my auntie helping me build it - then I was upstairs for the rest of the day playing with it.
found here with photo, BTW

Hey guys :)
Just wondered if anyone had any Doctor Who GIFs? I'm building a little collection but I only have four...
[PS: I'm preferably seeking out any classic Who GIFs, but any classic/new will be great]
( Behind the cut... )
Thanks guys!
+ Merry Christmas!
Sometimes I can't seem to find enough images… and other days I just like a lot of the images I scroll through. Today seemed to be a day where I really liked a lot of the images I looked at. I really hope other people do as well.
The Doctor loses the TARDIS in this picspam, although the way things happen here is a tiny bit different than in the episode. That's the way these picspams work though :D
Warning: Contains profanity. Sadly, it contains no masturbation or tiemcock jokes.
( Pardon the poor intro… it is 5am. )

Is it known which colleage/chapter she belongs to? Colleague/chapter as in Patrexes, Arcalian, or the Prydonians?
Hello!
A little over a month ago I made a post about getting David Tennant's autograph.
Today, I received an envelope with two pictures autographed by John Simm. I wrote to him when he was in the West End production of 'Speaking in Tongues'.
( a picture! )
:D
Song: Taking Over Me - Evanescence
Fandom: Doctor Who
Ships: Doctor/Master
Characters: Simm!Master, Tenth Doctor, human! Master.
Episodes: Utopia, Sound Of Drums, Last Of The Timelords, Waters Of Mars
Spoilers: Waters Of Mars, and clips from The End Of Time. Nothing no one's not seen, I think, though. :)
First Doctor Who vid, and likewise, first Master/Doctor vid. :D And it's angst, hahaha. I plan to do more of these, once End Of Time comes out. There's just such a lack of Master clips. D: Hopefully there's many more scenes for him in End of Time. <33
Comments are love. ='D
The brown suit, I mean. Out of all the posts about Ten's suits, has anyone mentioned the type and color of the material used for the lining, how many inner pockets, other usually hidden details?
Found this blog completely by accident: Beware ,There's A Crosseyed Cyclops In My Basement!!!. He has several old books for download, including the Dell comic adaption of the first WHO film, starring Peter Cushing! (Which I have, and where the icon comes from).
Also, it has a download of the film's soundtrack, and a couple of other things you might enjoy. :)
Happy Holidays! :D

There's been a lot of tributes to Ten leaving... but it's not just him we're losing. What about RTD's companions?
This was vidded for them. The women of nuWho! Because one of the best things about Who is its awesome brilliant women.
Contains Rose, Martha and Donna, naturally.
But there's also brief glimpses of:
- Astrid, Christina and Adelaide, as the one-off companions. No Rosita, because IMO she was more a tertiary character than someone filling the actual 'companion' role for the Doctor. (And no Jackson because this one's for the girls!)
- Jenny, simply because I think she filled the main companion role unofficially in that episode (even more than Donna IMO).
- River Song, because it's implied she'll be a sort of companion later on.
- Lucy, because she was sort of meant to mirror the Doctor's companions (again, more than Rosita did for me).
- Sarah Jane, because she's bloody well Sarah Jane. ;)
So yeah. Perhaps slightly arbitrary cutoff points for who is and isn't one, but ah well!
I tried so so hard to focus on the three main players equally, and to be as fair as possible to the secondary ones! I hope I managed. And likewise, there's no emphasis on any ship at all if I've done it all right.
Please enjoy! I know I loved making it. (And if I say so myself, beyond being a bit loose at the beginning, I'm damned proud of this vid.)
